Developed and performed by Tevyn East, and written in part by Ched Myers and Carl Magruder, the show has received enthusiastic feedback from almost 100 churches, colleges, seminaries and community centers. Guide on Healthy Aging for Congregations The National Council of Churches has released Healthy Aging for an Abundant Life, an education, action, and worship guide that is great for Christian and interfaith audiences. While the guide is geared towards seniors, there is something in it for everyone. There are also tips for grandparents and parents of small children. Download it here or request a hard copy here.
Vatican Pontifical Academy of Sciences releases study "Fate of Mountain Glaciers in the Anthropocene." The report opens with a call for "all people and nations to recognize the serious and potentially irreversible impacts of global warming caused by the anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases and other pollutants, and by changes in forests, wetlands, grasslands, and other land uses."
